We can define sustainability as “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs” (1987, Brundtland Commission). Thus, given the period of ecological transition that we are experiencing, this definition of 36 years ago becomes more relevant than ever.
The United Nations included Clean and Accessible Energy among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, and so has Decor, in its own way, taken a step forward in this direction. In fact, recently, 60 square meters of photovoltaic panels were installed on the roof of our production plant.
This green investment allows us to cover part of our electricity needs with clean and sustainable energy and to reduce pollution. And for those of our employees who own an electric vehicle, a charging station has been set up.
…A small step towards a cleaner environment.
